In the very far off land of Oz, after years of annoyance from small unknown creatures and their meddling minions, Queen Davies had had enough.
Tired of interruptions at her moat, she put a sign on the front of her castle. "No treats, do not trick, no frivolity or merriment of pumpkin day done here. Do not knock."
Satisfied, King and Queen Davies sat back and enjoyed the night in their castle.
And not one child knocked on their door or even approached the Davies door. And it was good.
