When we exchanged rings, we hoped our family of two would grow.
It has, into a family of 4. We're just split in half.
Two of us walk the Earth while two of us fly in Heaven.

YES!

Today, a mate tagged me in a comment on a post. The post was about recognition certificates for babies born under 20wks gestation and/or 400g birth weight.

YES!!!!!!! A step in the right direction! It's not a birth certificate. My baby girl won't have an official record of her birth recorded like her little brother's birth in the collection at Queensland Births Deaths & Marriages. She WILL have her name and date of birth on file and a certificate will be issued with her details on it. It will be issued by Queensland BD&M. And I will be one happy Mama.

Until the day when every single pregnancy is issued a birth certificate -regardless of gestational age at birth or at death- this will do.

My baby girl turns six this year. She's getting her Queensland certificate!
