When we exchanged rings, we hoped our family of two would grow.
It has, into a family of 4. We're just split in half.
Two of us walk the Earth while two of us fly in Heaven.

Wedded Bliss - pictures

Yesterday we were thrilled to attend and celebrate the marriage of two of our good friends Josh and Michelle.

This has been in my calendar for months!
The hubby and I.
Simply decorated church and aisle.
Ann, the stunning Mother of the Bride.
Matron of Honour Cherie.
Bridesmaid Bronwyn.
Here she comes!
Michelle and her father Shord.
Absolutely stunning dress.
Given away and at the altar with her groom, her soulmate Josh.
Mr. Josh Peters.
The new Mrs. Michelle Peters!
After the ceremony, the bride's colleagues organized and presented a lovely afternoon tea in the church hall.
The getaway car.
Heading off to their photo location before the dinner reception.
We arrived at the reception venue and were treated to drinks and canape's on the lawn. I had some lemonade (which in Australia is lemon flavored soft drink), divine garlic butter prawns in filo with some sort of creamy dip, and some steamed pork buns. (O.M.G. those were good!) I had to use the ladies room, and what a ladies room! Flocked wallpaper, towels as well as paper towels. Stunning!
The reception venue, The Tennyson Room.

Our table.
I want one.
The reception room. One word. WOW!
My seat.
Our table.
My favor.
Glenn's favor.
The delicious sounding menu. I had the risotto (with carefully picked out asparagus bits) and the chicken. The panacotta for dessert was absolutely delightful!
I love him.
Chicken breast with buttered kipfler potatoes.
Glenn's BBQ Beef Sirloin with zucchini and potato rosti and veggies.

And for the funniest moment on the dancefloor.... all the over 40s on the dancefloor yelling rather loudly and off key, "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY SEXY LADY!" Photo courtesy of Luke Harris.
